ABOUT PEI

Poverty Eradication Initiative is a prominent not-for-profit organization founded in 2002 under the Societies Act XX1 1860 by a group of expatriates. It operates with the primary objective of improving the lives of the destitute by implementing social welfare and development programs through strengthening the systems aligned with provincial and national priorities, with a particular focus on contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The organization’s, dedicated efforts and remarkable performance have earned it a prestigious reputation, being rated among the top 5 NGOs by the Pakistan Center of Philanthropy (PCP).

MISSION

PEI is on a mission to change the lives of the destitute by creating an equal and just Pakistan. We strive to break the cycle of poverty by uplifting individuals, families, and communities toward prosperity.

VISION
At PEI, our vision is to create a society grounded in the principles of sustainable human development, guided by three core values: self-esteem, freedom of choice, and tolerance. We envision a society where every individual is empowered to embrace their self-worth, make informed choices, and live a life free from oppression and discrimination.
